E' un viaggio musicale alla scoperta dell'Amore: quello un po' scomodo, a volte disperato, a volte maledetto, raccontato da alcune delle più note canzoni del rock e del pop internazionale degli ultimi 40 anni. Come da tradizione Velut Luna, Chiara Pastò, Enrico Santacatterina e Massimo Tuzza, non si limitano a rieseguire semplici cover, ma grazie agli straordinari arrangiamenti e alla produzione musicale di Enrico Santacatterina, il Trio ci offre una serie di riletture assolutamente orginali e totalmente inedite di brani pur notissimi al grande pubblico. Le più diverse chitarre di Enrico - 12 corde, Dobro, XOX, Godin - e i suoni elettronici dei suoi synth, vengono rivestiti dai variegati e ricchissimi colori delle percussioni di Massimo Tuzza e sigillati dalla voce impressiva e cristallina di Chiara Pastò. It's a musical journey to discover the secrets of Love: that one a little bit desperate, sometimes accursed, told us by some of the most famous international rock and pop songs from the last 40 years. According to the famous "Velut Luna Style", Chiara Pastò, Enrico Santacatterina and Massimo Tuzza offer not simple covers of some of the most famous songs ever, but new astonishing performances, due to the original arrangements by Enrico Santacatterina, including various different guitars - 12 strings, dobro, XOX, Godin... - absolutely new sounds from sinth machine, the rich colors granted by the percussions of Massimo Tuzza and last but not least, the impressive and crystal clear voice of Chiara Pastò. Gli arrangiamenti sono vocalmente polifonici e contrappuntistici, in stile Baraonna (Delio Caporale, Vito Caporale, Daphne Nisi ed Eleonora Tosto). La parte strumentale vede: Pippo Matino, fuoriclasse napoletano, al basso elettrico; la creatività jazzistica di Alessandro Tomei ai sax ed al flauto traverso; la brillantezza ritmica di Andy Bartolucci, giovane performer romano, che ha suonato batteria e percussioni; le chitarre sapienti di Marco Sinopoli, figlio del celebre direttore d’orchestra; ed infine il pianoforte e le tastiere di Vito Caporale, che ha curato anche la direzione artistica dell'album. Il CD è articolato e godibile, vario nelle ambientazioni musicali, con il fil rouge delle armonizzazioni vocali. Emergono tuttavia le forti personalità espressive dei quattro solisti Baraonna, che sono inoltre, autori ed arrangiatori del CD.  Nell'album sono contenuti parti in italiano, napoletano, inglese, francese ed "esperanto" del sud. Le registrazioni sono state effettuate a Roma presso lo studio Delta Top e lo studio MSMedia. Il completamento del missaggio e la masterizzazione sono stati curati, a Padova, da Marco Lincetto, cultore del suono di alta qualità.

Lucia Minetti The songs of Dreamland are inspired both by the great tradition of the greatest American Songwriters, from Tom Waits to Ryan Bingham, from Woody Guthrie to Bob Dylan, both by the great tradition of the original American Music, from Blues to Jazz. Two wonderful Italian Artists such as Lucia Minetti and Fabio Ranghiero tribute their passion and incredible quality to the Great American Music.

Lucia Minetti, extraordinary performer, important voice of the Italian scene, together with Andrea Zani at the piano and Martino Maina at the cello, solid musicians, sensitive and curious towards the music all, plays in a chamber music style, precious songwriting from Italy, France, Brasil, Argentina and Spain with intensity and great expressive personality. A trio that crosses the boundaries of genre with curiosity formed by musicians with different musical paths. Interpreters very prepared, fl exible and aware of each of their instrument. Lucia Minetti, singer loved by directors and authors who have dedicated music and lyrics is known for the breadth of its repertoire, the intensity of its interpretations and the wise use of dynamics and colors. It was defi ned by Lidia Ravera “Mezzo soprano e mezzo angelo del cielo” and by Giorgio Gaslini “The best new singer of the songwriting”.
